A very limited number of this HUGE and highly collectible mask were created for the 45th anniversary of the ground breaking original film and are SOLD OUT.Originally in the 1980's, Distortions offered the Xenomorph ALIEN, which was cast off one the original ALIEN movie molds, actually sculpted by H.R. Giger. A very limited number were originally produced then by Distortions Unlimited, so original masks are super sought after grail pieces.In order to bring back the iconic piece, Distortions made a cast from an original foam master from the 80's and began to painstakingly restore the detail of it by hand. You are getting a direct generational descendant from a production made piece.This SOLD OUT deluxe ALIEN mask was made in the USA of high quality latex and a plastic dome, and it was hand painted at Distortions. There was a very limited number of masks available and it once again has since SOLD OUT. These were expensive out of the gate because of the work involved and limited release. At 36 inches long, this monster is primarily meant to be displayed, though they state the mask may be worn for short periods. "It is not recommended or designed to wear for long periods of time. Eye, ear and ventilation holes have been cut in the mask but there is limited visibility, hearing, and air flow. It has also been slit up the back". Materials - Latex mask with clear PETG plastic dome. The top of the head is foamed to rest on your head.Box opened to inspect contents and is mint and bagged with 20th Century Fox tag.
