Description: Offered for your consideration is a clear glass spooner made by Bryce, Walker and Company (1865/6-1882) in a pattern known as "Ambidextrous", although the original name of this pattern is unknown. This pattern was a new pattern introduced circa 1881. The spooner measures 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall and is 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) in diameter. This spooner is in very used condition with no cracks, noticeable roughness, nor repairs. The glass is cloudy in appearance. There is a small chip on top edge of base, and a small scratch on side of spooner. Spooner is used so there may be slight wear ot additional indications of use. See photos. The glass is cloudy with no discoloration nor lime scale present. There may be bubbles, a shear (straw) mark, and other minor imperfections within the glass due to the manufacturing process used at the time. Spooner will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping. I will combine shipping on multiple auctions won if doing so will not increase the risk of damage. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
