Description: An antique, handwritten and bound collection of Ecclesiastical Music, which appears to be collected and bound from 1857 onwards Possibly used by the conductor of an East Lancashire choir in the Accrington area The binding is still tight Condition of pages consitent with regular but overall careful usage Approx 12" x 10" Weight 1.329 grams A reference book for the original author and others who followed. I have tried to include a variety of samples. There may be an undiscovered gem here. Possibly from the days when printed and published music was less accessible, these pages copied perhaps from other collections The Henry Watson Library in Manchester is the result of years of collecting by an Accrington musician. https://www.manchester.gov.uk/info/447/rare_books_and_collections/7386/henry_watson_music_library#:~:text=The%20Henry%20Watson%20Music%20Library,would%20fall%20into%20our%20control.
