Description: English Sterling Stipple Decorated Box Birmingham 1936. A good size box with gold washed interior. Decoration is all over stippling, all the sides, edges and the front and back. There is a band around the inside of lid as well. In the upper right corner of the interior of the lid is a two letter monogram-RK with purity stamps in the lower right corner. There is an untraced maker’s mark, city mark, purity mark and date mark in upper right corner of the box itself. Could be used for breath mints, pills or even snuff. Photographed in as found estate condition, minor wear from age and use, will be gently polished prior to shipping. Approx 3” l x 2 1/2”w x 3/8”h, 103.4g.
