Description: Hi Welcome! For your consideration is this lovely vintage Christmas Music Box from Germany. It is a unique work of art, hand crafted from wood and hand painted by the well-known Christian Ulbricht company. It features 5 musical angels on golden stars and a Christmas tree in the middle. When the music plays, the ring with the angels rotates around the stationary Christmas Tree.The musical movement is a swiss THORENS movement. The sound is bright and clear and it plays very well: "Silent Night". To wind it up, just turn the key on the side clockwise. There is a working stopper on the side, too. The music box is in excellent condition, apart from one missing wing. It is gorgeous! The paint is in excellent condition. Please look at all pictures and zoom in. Nice vintage music box.Dates to the 1980s. Marked with the Ulbricht label from that time period. It was made, when the Ulbricht company operated from West Germany (and later returned to the Erzgebirge).It measures about 8 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" wide. Comes from a clean and smoke free home.
