This book was published in an edition of only 500 copies printed on Van Gelder Handmade Paper in the Month of April 1917, by the Gilliss Press. It was a publication of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Egyptian Expedition, and was edited by Albert M. Lythgoe, Curator of the Department of Egyptian Art: The Robb De Peyster Tytus Memorial Series. Sheet measures approximately 19.5 x 14.5 inches. Possibly a few minor spots, but for the most part a clean, bright example of this frontispiece print in very good condition. Quoting Wikipedia: "Nakht was an Ancient Ebyptian official who held the position of a scribe and astronomer of Amun, probably during the reign of Thutmose IV in the Eighteenth Dynasty.
