Description: Rare Fessenden Art Nouveau Sterling Silver "Tulip" 5 3/8” spoon, No monogram. One of the most beautiful of all the Art Nouveau floral patterns, and quite hard to find. I’ve seen this size spoon listed variously as 5 O’Clock tea spoon, bouillon spoon, and dessert spoon. Antique, circa 1915 -- not a reproduction. Excellent antique heirloom condition. Fessenden was a Providence, RI based manufacturer of sterling silver, in operation from 1858 to around 1922. They are known to collectors for their exceptional Art Nouveau floral patterns such as Tulip, Narcissus, Daisy, and McKinley. Spoon is marked "Sterling” and carries the Fessenden hallmark. It weighs 25 grams. $5 shipping for US domestic ~ for International shipping, contact me in advance and I will do my best to figure out a shipping quote for International Mail.
