Description: Hard to find early Banthrico: First Security of Salt Lake City. It was cast by Banthrico in 1956 and measures: 4" x 2 ¼ " x 5 ½ " and is in excellent used condition, without any physical damage. The trap is closed and locked but it does come with a Banthrico key, itself trending at $10-$15. It is metal with a copper finish that shows some surface spotting -- see all photos to best judge its condition. Shown in Souvenir Buildings: A Visual History, plate # 1647, with a value of $50-$100; also Monumental Miniatures, plate #970. Classic mid-century architecture.
