Description: Neo-classic German Solid Silver Pierced Jardinière Center Piece Bowl with Removable Copper Liner Marked Gebruder Friedlander 800 fine Presented is a stunning Neo-classic pierced solid silver Jardinière, Center-piece bowl hallmarked for German 800 silver by Gebruder Friedlander made c1890 with what appears to be a monogram of GCH. American standard sterling silver is 925 fine, so there is slight more silver in this alloy. This beautiful bowl has a chased floral and leaf motif with two high squared shoulder handles with drapes roping motif on four raised squared feet with a copper liner with two interior rings for ease of removal from frame. It is in lovely condition with only a few minor dings and some fine scratches from gentle use and care..
