Description: Vintage 1966 SOTW Australian Jungle Fighter set. This set is 100% complete and in Near Mint condition with No stains, rips, tares, repairs or damage at all. The accessories are all tagged or stamped Hasbro Japan. The Jacket and Shorts are tagged Hasbro Japan. They both look great with only the ranks and division patch showing their 58 year old age. The Short Brown Boots are mint. The Socks are excellent to near mint. The Flame Thrower is mint, it has the Brass Ring and has the correct attachment points on both the tanks and the wand - the straps are mint with excellent original elastic, no scratches or ware of any kind. The Campaign Hat is mint and has the band. The Belt looks excellent to near mint, the Machete and Machete sheath are near mint to mint. Knuckle Knife is beautiful and in mint condition. The Entrenching Tool is near mint. All 6 correct grenades all have the rings and pins. The Figure is in near mint condition, with no play ware, he is very tight with original Hasbro stringing and will hold any pose you put him in. He has only 3 small typical stress cracks and has near mint rivet paint. Beautiful black hair with blue eyes, his face paint is really nice. He comes with all of the Japanese made accessories that he was originally issued with including the Victory Cross Medal, tabs are a little bent. He also comes with the Counter Intelligence Manual, first page is not filled in and there is no writing inside, manual is in excellent condition. It is next to impossible to find an all original and 100% complete set that doesn’t have problems, stains, tares, rips or repairs or damage. Hard to find nicer Hasbro Australian Jungle Fighter Set anywhere.
