The Les Paul Junior originally appeared in 1954 as a low-priced model of the Les Paul series. The overall design is characterized by its simple form. The mahogany neck produces a sweet and sticky tone, and the P-90 single coil pickup, which is called a dog ear type and is mounted directly on the body, produces a thick tone that is different from Fender's single coils. . In the 1960s, production of Les Pauls, including the Junior, was discontinued, but in the 80s, production of the Les Paul Junior was resumed. There have been some specification changes, but basically the Kluson peg and stop bar tailpiece have been the characteristics of the Les Paul Junior since its introduction in 1954. However, the bridge of the model has been replaced with a badass type one.
