It was manufactured in 2001. The Les Paul Junior was originally introduced in 1954 as a budget model of the Les Paul series. It features a simple overall form. It has a sweet and sticky tone from the mahogany neck and a thick tone from the "P-90" single coil pickup mounted directly on the body, called a dog-ear type, which is different from Fender's single coil. In the 1960s, production of the Les Paul, including the Junior, was discontinued, but in the 1980s, production of the Les Paul Junior resumed. Although there have been some specification changes, the Les Paul Junior has basically been characterized by a Kluson peg and a stop bar tailpiece since its introduction in 1954. However, the bridge of the model we have in stock this time has been replaced with a Badass type. The stop bar tailpiece has the drawback of not being able to adjust the octave, so Badass released this bridge as a replacement part to improve this issue, but it is probably a Badass-like bridge. If you want pitch accuracy, this is a good modification, but of course the sound will change. The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan SP90-1s, which, combined with the replacement of the bridge, gives it a tight sound for a Les Paul Junior.
