Description: New CD , Polish Sticker The first solo album in almost a decade by legendary Pink Floyd singer and guitarist David Gilmour. "Rattle That Lock" is Gilmour's fourth studio work, the first since 2006's On An Island. The lyrics for the album were co-written by longtime artist partner Polly Samson and produced by David Gilmour and Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music). Inspired by the whole concept, the album was the second book of John Milton’s 17th-century poem Paradise Lost, telling of Satan’s exile from the kingdom of heaven and his journey through Pandemonium (the capital of Hades), Purgatory and Chaos. Visitors to the album include the prison choir The Liberty Choir, vocalists Mika Paris and Louise Marshall, and the album promotes the title track, based on the sound signal of the French State Railways (by Michael Boumendil). Not only Polish fans will also be electrified by the news that the orchestrations for the album were prepared by Zbigniew Preisner, with whom the artist had the pleasure of working on his previous album. The album has been released on CD (elegant hardcover, textbook and photo booklet from work on the disc), vinyl (with a code for free download of the disc in the digital version) as well as special CD+DVD and CD+Blu-Ray boxes. Each of them, in addition to additional audio-video material (rehearsal recordings, live versions, documentaries), also includes the second book of 'Paradise Lost' and memorabilia (game dice, postcards, poster).
