Gorgeous Grand Size Antique Simon Halbig 1079 Bisque Head Doll on Original Body

Description: Antique Huge SIMON HALBIG Doll 1079 DEP Germany 16 Bisque Head on her antique ball jointed Composition Body. Her bisque head has no cracks, no crazing, no hairlines, no repairs, no restorations, no overpainting. She is approximately 32” tall from top of bisque head to bottom of composition feet. This corresponds with her size 16 head. However, measurements taken with her buckram pate attached to the pate rim of her head plus her wig add another approximate inch to her height, making her approximately 33”. The height of her straw hat also makes her presentation a bit taller than that but of course that is not figured in with her height. Her face is unforgettable in its beauty, and has a character type look such as the earliest of the dolls of this model have. Her even and fresh, almost translucently lovely complexion coloring, open mouth with 4 well defined original porcelain teeth, marvelously painted multi-stroke eyebrows, and huge original antique brown sleep eyes with original hair lashes suit her to perfection. She has all of her fingers and her body is structurally sound. There are some few inherent age dents, cracks and chips in her body. Her long curled wig with forehead fringe is human hair that matches the tone of her eyebrows and is in excellent shape, tagged human hair and size 16. She wears metallic Silver-type earrings that have faceted crystal stones. Her hat is natural straw and it is trimmed with the same baby blue wide satin ribbon as her dress. It ties at her throat with narrow satin picot edged baby blue satin ribbon. She wears her beautiful antique white cotton and lace Victorian dress that is trimmed with wide baby blue satin bows at the shoulders and generously sashed with matching wide satin ribbon around her waist ending with a long bow. Underneath she wears an antique white chemise trimmed with blue satin bows and lace, as well as white vintage lace trimmed pantaloons.
