This is an as-new disc from the Universal Binary version of HALO for the Mac, a slightly later release than the original PowerPC version from 2003. I purchased a bunch of these from a former MacSoft employee a couple of years after the studio closed. IF YOU'RE COLLECTING: The disc will be 100% clean and come in a new, plain CD case like the picture, with an install key sticker on it. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY: Be sure to review all three of the notes below, as there are compatibility limitations.It is possible to play the full single-player campaign up to OSX Mojave / 10.14.6, but NO LATER (meaning if you bought your Mac new after October 6 2019, or upgraded it past Mojave, you can't play the game on your Mac; this is because the game is a 32-bit app and versions of the Mac OS after Mojave only support 64 bits). There is no co-op, no death match, and no split screen play; these features were either never part of the Mac release, or are no longer available.Play on compatible Macs requires the use of an included supplementary install disc that allows installation of the fully updated (and therefore compatible) game.There will be some minor graphical anomalies when played on more recent Macs, such as Master Chief's helmet visor being black instead of gold.INTERNATIONAL PURCHASING: Please use the contact option to ask.
