Description: First off I must disclose I am a novice in regards to saddle.....I do not know what style it is(roping, trail, etc.)..... But I know what I like and this thing caught my eye as a piece of art.....in addition I am amazed at the condition for 75 years old.... It seems very solid in all aspects except the strings.....they are dry rotten and need replaced.....otherwise the saddle leather is in excellent condition..... I see no signs of cracks or dryness.the tooling is beautiful.... I went over the saddle quickly with Black Rock leather conditioner..... It is apparent that it has seen limited use and has been stored properly.......the shearing underneath seems solid also..... The stirrups are in excellent condition and are original to the saddle I would guess..... Please scrutinize the pics for size and condition......please ask if there is further pics or info needed...... I picked this up at an auction in southern Minnesota...... It was a small estate auction with vintage world war 2 articles from a B-24 pilot.... My guess is this also belonged to him ... Shipping via UPS ground,..... $100.00
