I imagine you could use it for candies or other foods at a gathering. It also looks great on a plate stand as a decoration (see photo 3 - stand is not included). If you turn the bowl until the light hits it just right, I think there might be some very slight scratches on the front, but you really have to look for them and I can't get a good picture of them. Photo 12 shows a little bit of roughness on the curve, but it looks like that could be part of the production process. This is another item that you can't look at without smiling.
