Description: This is a RARE FIND for collectors! A beautiful 31" LOW BROW CHINA HEAD FROM GERMANY NAMED BERTHA with black curly hair and blue eyes. The doll comes with old clothes and is an original piece from the early 1900s. Her shoulder plate says PATENTED and something else I am unable to read and it says GERMANY. Her name "BERTHA" is on the front of her shoulderplate. She is all original and body is handmade and I see no holes or rips or stains, just "age". She comes to you with the clothing she came in, very worn and antique, pantaloons and top in fairly good shape. The dress, however, is really beaten up with a rip in top, and the lace on the neckline and sleeves very fragile. Socks and shoes may be replacement, not as old as the clothing. She would be great if someone could take the time to restore her clothing or give her better clothing and she would display well. SHE IS BIG.
