Description: 2022 IBANEZ BTB845-CBL - Cerulean Blue Burst - w/HSC For your consideration is this Textured Burled Top 5-String Bass from Ibanez. A very sold instrument. Plays well, on-board EQ, Neutrik 1/4” Stereo Locking Output Jack, Reinforcing Graphite Rods, all make for a Tonal Monster. The body is very textured, the only blemishes to note are buckle/suspender rash on the back noted in the pics, does not affect playability. Hard Shell Case Included. From Ibanez Wiki: The BTB845 features neck through body construction with a poplar burl top and mahogany back on ash wings attached to a maple and rosewood neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Bartolini BH2 passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets including a zero fret, individually mounted Mono-rail V bridges with 19mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines. 2017 BTB845 in Dark Twilight(DTL) introduced. 2018 the rosewood fretboard was replaced with jatoba and the maple and rosewood neck was replaced with maple and walnut. 2019 the mahogany back was replaced with okoume. 2020 Cerulean Blue Burst introduced. Last year for the DTL color option. 2021 graphite reinforcing rods were added to the neck and the fretboard material was changed back to rosewood. Antique Brown Burst added as a color. 2022-Present Cerulean Blue Burst is the ONLY color option.
