Description: Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wood Bento w/ Box This is a vintage Japanese lacquered bento lunch box, also known as jubako. It is a caramel brown color true to the shunkei-nuri style of lacquerware and is only one tier. It has a split lid with two triangles that each lift off to reveal the inside. There are symbols and kanji stamps throughout on the sides and lid. This item also contains a set of chopstick that fit neatly inside. It comes with the original box.
