Description: 1953 copyright, possibly 1st Edition. Written by Ruth Sawyer - Illustrated by Robert McCloskey ~ 1954 Caldecott Honor. Condition notes: 1. This is a well loved ex-library copy, the only library markings I see are a card pocket in the back and front. 2. The cloth covered board cover is very worn around the edges/corners and there are loose strings, etc. 3. The library did a binding repair, it looks like the pages were sewn back in and tape was put along the spine. The pages are now in the book, but they are loosely repaired. 4. The pages themselves have some dark smudges from little kids grubby fingers. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
