Description: The Give A Show Projector and 40 Slide Strips is another family item recently brought out of a long storage. The lot dates to the 1960's and remains in very good condition. The bulb in the projector works. I battery tested it for the first time in years just before taking the above photos. The projector is missing a small blue plastic 'plug', like the intact one seen on the bottom edge of the unit. Part of a it's small plastic 'holding' ring is broken. I have attempted to picture this above. The red holding area of the intact blue peg has a small crack, also seen above. The cool, retro slide strips include the likes of Tom & Jerry, Popeye, Woody Woodpecker, Pinocchio, Yogi Bear, Buffalo Bill, Bart & Bret Maverick, Cinderella, Kit Carson, Wyatt Earp, The 3 Stooges, Alvin and The Chipmunks, Mighty Mouse, Lassie, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Captain Kangeroo, Roy Rogers, Bozo the Clown, Superman, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Heckle & Jeckle, Mr. Magoo, The Flintstones and many others. Forty strips total, all featuring iconic characters in vibrant colors. Also included are sections of the original box/packaging. It is not a complete box, but I was still thrilled to find what now appears in these photos. "Childhood memories rediscovered in an old shoe box".
