Description: This is an excellent Stereo card of protest being heard by U. S. general appraisers, customhouse, New York City, New York. It was made by Keystone and is from the rare History 300 card set (the cards are numbered H1 to H300) from about the late 1930's. This set features many unique photos of people, places, events, and objects of importance in American History and contains many rare and unusual views that were not included in any other sets. This card is titled "Protest Being Heard by U. S. General Appraisers, Customhouse, New York City." with a Keystone negative number of V26353 and a position number of H275. It is in excellent condition and measures 3 1/2" by 7”. The back of the card is printed with information about the subject. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest.
