Description: Vintage Studio Knitting Machine - Type E Japan.SK-312 Cardmatic. 4.5mm standard gauge. unit comes with accessories, as well as a stock of pattern punch cards for pattern knitting. Has some discoloration sun oxidation on some of the outer case. It is 42 inches long 7.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep. Handle, latches and hinges are in good condition. Instruction, manuals and pattern booklet tool box are included. Please look closely at images. The knitting machine case is in very good condition with smudging that can be cleaned. Missing a couple of screws on the end of the The bed, needles and carriage rail are in very good condition. I replaced the sponge bar recently. Cleaned all needles and rotated them. The counter lever was loose and I repaired it. I am knitting on this machine and it works great. I have added a couple of pictures of a fit and flare skirt I am knitting on this knitting machine. I have not tested the patterning device. There is a learning curve to machine knitting but there are many Facebook groups and YouTube videos available. The machine is SOLD AS IS.
