Description: This is a signed photo of Kurt Masur (1927-2015), a German conductor who directed many of the principal orchestras of his era. Masur had a long career as the Kapellmeister of the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, and was music director of the New York Philharmonic from 1991 to 2002.
