It was a gift from a USA sailor to his fiancee'/wife while he was stationed in Australia during Operation Magnet in the late 1950s and early 1960s. (They married in the middle of his tour of duty in Australia. See stack of correspondence, not included.) There is a tarnish spot. It otherwise appears little used with powder and puff intact. Get this item with FREE SHIPPING with tracking in the USA. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age. If Free Shipping is offered it will be by the cheapest method possible, for books that will be Media Mail.
