Description: LEONARDO COLLECTION LP5045 HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN HOPE DOLL W/STAND. This auction is for a gorgeous genuine hand painted porcelain doll produced as part of the Leonardo Collection. Her name is Hope (LP5045) and she measures 15” high x 9 ½” wide (at widest point) x 5” deep and is mounted on a white metal display stand that is covered with material/felt and encircled by lace. The adorable black-headed girl has brown eyes and is wearing a crushed red velvet dress accented with white plush fur at the hem, neckline and cuffs. There is a plush fur hat accented with a bow. She is also wearing white bloomers with white stockings and bright red shoes. Hope is sitting atop a white carousel horse that is embellished with lace, faux pearls, ribbons and gold-colored bows. The doll is in its original box which shows significant wear (the plastic in front is torn). The doll has never been out of the box, but was removed to photograph and will be shipped in it.
