This plate features various official seals and insignias and has a diameter of 9.5 inches. The Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company in Boston (AHAC) chartered and established as a military company in 1638 to train young gentleman officers for service in the various militias of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) was incorporated by royal charter in 1537 by King Henry VIII, and it is a now registered charity whose purpose is to attend to the "better defence of the realm". Very good condition with no chips or cracks, very minimal wear on the edge gild.
