This Basket was created from a new form and the design was borrowed from Native American Basketmakers in California's Yosemite Valley. The Giving Basket features tapered Heartwood upsplints highlighted by Olive and Merlot weaving based on the mountain landscape. There is a solid Wood Kerf bottom. The Basket has a clear coat stain to preserve and enhance the weave pattern and color. The color combination of this Basket is stunning! I have my Giving Basket with the Large Pasta Bowl in Sage sitting in the top of the Basket filled with small cactus plants. The Set includes the Basket, Protector, Product Card and Box.
