It is dark black outside with the inside (shearling) slightly darker to define sleeves when rolled up. Hits right at or an inch below the waist. I have worn it on special occasions and casually. It is in very good condition. Moved to Amelia Island so only able to use it one season back east and holidays there too. Hard to put into words the craftsmanship, beauty, sophisticated details and design. I believe it's Loro Piana at their best. If better pictures needed just ask.
