Very well built (heavy gauge metal) and will crack the two hardest nuts that I know of (macadamia nuts and black walnuts). Will accommodate any nut 1-3/4"down to 5/8". The first one I made has cracked well over 4000 nuts and will last many years, if not a lifetime. Requires minimal adjusting, and adjusts easily. Adapter mounts on to the platen for small nuts.
