I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in good overall condition for its age, with a solid spine, great overall inside pages with light natural yellowing (photo#12 example), and minor levels of shelf-scuffing/scratching. It does have some lighter signs of wear that primarily affects its externals. **Photo#3:-Spine edge: 2 small indents near its middle. **Photo#4 (w/illumination): -Upper spine corner: Some scuffing along it. Very light ~3" and light ~1" indents/depressions around the corner on the front cover. **Photo#5: -Lower spine corner: Very light scuffing, small dings/indents around where it meets each cover. **Photo#6 (w/illumination): -Front cover top edge: Some scuffing along it, most prominently towards the spine corner. Tiny one towards the outer corner that shows lightly on ~4 pages. -Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~10 pages. **Photo#7 (w/illumination):-Front cover bottom edge: Light scuffing along it, most prominently near its middle.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~15 pages. **Photo#8 (w/illumination): -Back cover top edge: Small depression near the spine corner, a few small patches of light scuffing along the edge.-Outer corner: Light ~1/2" crease around corner, shows on ~10 pages as a light indent. Tiny indent/scuff/bend at extreme corner that goes thru most pages as a light bend. **Photo#9 (w/illumination):-Back cover bottom edge: Small indent/ding near the spine corner, some tiny scuffs/dings from the edge's middle to the outer corner.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/2 pages as a light bend. **Additionally: Front cover possesses some light horizontal waves/depressions starting adjacent the spine edge around its middle (photo#10 w/illumination). Very light ~2" vertical indent towards the top outer corner, and very light ~3" one near the bottom edge. Small crease/depression near the page edge, with a ~1.5" indent lower down the cover (seen in photo#7). Page edge has some light scuffing along it. Back cover has a small indent near the top edge, and a light ~1" depression near the upper spine corner. Diagonal ~1.5" crease/depression starting adjacent the page edge (photo#11 w/illumination). Some light scratches/indents around the cover's lower half. Some light shelf-scuffing around the cover. Pages have light natural yellowing around their peripherals (photo#12). 2 pages near book's middle have a ~3" horizontal crease starting adjacent their page edges' middles. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit. I always pack books firmly between pieces of cardboard (among other materials/layers) via Gemini Comic mailers or bubble mailers depending on size; usually utilizing boxes for larger lots. If you have any questions or would like any additional photos, feel free to let me know. I'm always happy to combine shipping costs - either message me before completing purchase for a pre-payment price adjustment, or alternatively I can provide a refund afterwards. Thanks, and have an amazing day!
