Description: Classic Mexican Tonala Folk Art Pottery. Pre-Columbian Colima style figural Armadillo animal maceta, planter, pot, sculpture, statue, figure, curled up resting on its back. Beautifully decorated to approximate the look and feel of antique Pre-Columbian pottery of Colima, with manganese deposits and an excavated appearance. Unmarked, unsigned, no labels or tags. Purchased by us from the workshop in Tonala where these superb reproductions are created. In Excellent 'as new" condition with no damages. Measures approximately 8 inches long, 6 inches tall, and 5 inches wide. Weighs approximately 2.50 lbs. Will weigh between 4 and 5 lbs packaged. More pics upon request.
