Description: This is the abbreviated story of E.T. narrated by Michael Jackson, who also sings a new opening & closing song (same song). The record has never been played. I would call it mint & new, but there's no shrink wrap on it. There never was. This promo copy LP has audio clips & John Williams' soundtrack music from the movie, the 22x22 color poster & the booklet with dialogue & photos from the movie, but unlike the regular copies, it also contains an 8x10 glossy photo of producer Quincy Jones, Steven Spielberg & Michael Jackson, a sheet of paper as to how this project came to be & a 1 page bio of Jones, Spielberg & Jackson...extra stuff for the electronic & written media. The person who put this together accidentally put in two copies of the Michael bio. Interestingly, Michael's bio is the shortest. This E.T. album came out just about the same time as Thriller. The most interesting sentence in his bio is "Jackson's newest solo album, Thriller, is expected to go the way of his first solo release, Off The Wall." How were they to know it would go on to be the largest selling album ever in the world? This album cover is plain white, as is the inside sleeve, not blue. There is a small wrinkle at the top left corner of the cover. There are 3 tiny folds on the back cover of the booklet. Nowhere does is say "Promotional Copy" but the plain white cover & extras make it obvious. Plus I'm the one who originally received it, & I remember. Ever since this album was new, over 40 years ago, it's been stored in a clear, plastic sleeve (look closely at the main picture) & it will be sent to you that way. E.T. & M.J. collectors will have something that very few others do. A collector's item in the true sense of the word. FREE SHIPPING.
