This glove is for the RIGHT handed thrower as the glove fits on the LEFT hand ! This particular is fully broken in and it is very easy to use and very flexible ! So your young girl will not struggle with a hard to use glove ! This is not a hard or a tough glove ! If you want a firm, hard or tough glove this is not that glove ! This glove also has an incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos ! So once the ball enters the pocket of this glove it is not going to pop out ! As far as fitting goes, this mitt is a very tight fit on my average adult size hand ! I can get my adult size hand inside this mitt but it is pretty difficult ! The inner lining is in excellent condition and the glove is extremely comfortable to the hand and the fingers all the way up through the finger stalls !
