Width 17", Max weight capacity: 150 lbs.How To Install Jack Plate for Outboard Motors?Step 1Place the Jack Plate in the center of transom.Clamp Jack Plate in place and drill six holes. Using six bolts (minimun size of 3/8”) mount jack plate to transom. Use washers, lock-nuts and protective sealant around bolts. Tighten all bolts then remove clamps.Step 2Mount engine to Jack Plate. Make sure that the wooden block is inside Jack Plate. Tighten engine mounts securely.Drill two holes in the bottom of engine bracket and bolt bracket to jack plate with bolts, washers and locknuts. Be sure to bolt through wooden block.
