It opens partway, but the loading mechanism does not seem to raise and lower correctly, which causes the unit to make sharp banging noises as it opens and closes. As a result of these issues the item will require some degree of repair to attain any level of functionality. Other issues may present themselves upon further testing and repair. The unit is in good cosmetic condition, with just a few scuffs and scratches along the top of the unit's face.
