From crisp crunch sounds to roaring distortion sounds, you can freely create any distorted tone with this one unit. -Features- ・BYPASS This is a foot switch that starts PTPRE (ON/OFF switching). When ON, the red LED lights up. When the Bypass switch is OFF, it is true bypass. ・PRE BOOST Equipped with PRE BOOST that can be turned on/off with a mini switch. The high and low frequencies are moderately controlled, and the sticky midrange is pushed out. Ideal for soloing, gain up, etc. It is also possible to lower the gain depending on the settings. ・Distortion This is the heart of PTPRE that creates distortion. It always functions when the Bypass switch is ON. A JFET operational amplifier is used in the amplification stage to create a distorted sound with rich overtones. Equipped with 4 knobs: GAIN / BASS / TREBLE / LEVEL. GAIN adjusts the amount of distortion, and LEVEL adjusts the volume. When the GAIN knob is set to 0, the sound will be similar to a crunch. BASS adjusts the bass range around 100Hz, and TREBLE adjusts the treble range above 500Hz. ・BRIGHT Switch Equipped with a bright switch that can be turned on/off with a mini switch. When turned on, the treble range will be boosted. This is effective when you feel that the sound coming from the speakers is too dark. ・5-BAND PARAMETRIC EQ Equipped with a 5-band parametric equalizer that can be turned on/off with a mini switch. You can select any frequency from each of the five bands and boost/cut it by ±10dB. You can fine-tune the sound creation to suit any situation. ・POST BOOST It can be turned ON/OFF with a foot switch, and the volume can be boosted up to approximately +11dB. This is effective when you want to increase the volume during leads, solos, etc. ・NOISE GATE Equipped with a high quality noise gate that can be turned on/off with a mini switch. Adjust the threshold with the GATE knob. Equipped with a green LED to indicate the operating status of the noise gate. A solid green LED indicates that the noise gate is active. ・REMOTE The PRE BOOST and 5-BAND PARAMETRIC EQ sections, which can be turned ON/OFF with a mini switch, can be turned ON/OFF externally by connecting an Ibanez IFS2L footswitch (sold separately). *When a foot switch is connected, the mini switch of the target section will not operate.
