Description: I am always particularly fond of American pipe artisans that make exceptional pipes, yet do not command the popularity of the higher volume producers. Some of my favorites are Carl Harris of Arkansas (American CPipe), Ron Smith (Ranz Pipes) , Mark Domingues at Lone Star Briar Works in Texas and Todd Harris of Ohio. Todd Harris has been making pipes for years part-time as a professional engineer. These days he mostly does commission work, though I was so fortunate to acquire this NEW & Unsmoked Pebble Grain Tomato from a collector at the Las Vegas Pipe Show!! Todd Harris makes his pipes from the finest briars and high grade ebonite. This is a larger perfectly proportioned pipe with a wide chunky ebonite stem. All custom handmade work, these pipes have become very difficult to find in any condition. This is an exquisite pipe in material, design and its unique pebble finish with a smooth rim and ferrule ring. With a generous bowl volume and thick walled Tomato shape, it’s certain to be cooler in a full hand and a consummate smoker. Todd Harris pipes do not appear often, and this perfectly crafted custom pipe is a rare find indeed. This is a superior pipe by an American Master. I am fortunate to offer this one for your consideration. At your request with acquisition, I can coat the bowl with M.C. Bauman Uncle Matt’s Bowl Black to protect the briar and start that perfect cake. Sorry, you don’t receive my custom Jeff Lynne Zippo! That is just for size comparison.
