Description: This listing is for an old souvenir bookmark from Mount Saint Joseph Abbey Roscrea in Ireland. A small photo of the abbey is glued to the bookmark, which also has a ribbon attached. The bookmark is very stiff considering how thin it is, so I think it is made from real vellum (calf skin). It was sent to someone as a gift and bears an ink inscription regarding a wedding held at the Abbey. Age unknown. Estate sale find. Ruler is shown for purposes of scale only.
