Old Antique Vtg 19th C 1800s Native American Indian Carved Wooden Scoop Ladle

Description: This offering is for a wonderful antique early to mid 19th century hand carved wooden scoop or ladle with a wonderful animal head handle hook. The scoop is likely Native American Indian and the form is outstanding. The scoop measures app. 8" in overall length and 5.25" across the bowl. The wood appears to be ash. The scoop was carved from one piece of wood and the hook was expertly carved in the stylized form of an animal head, most likely representing a deer. The wood was never varnished and is has a wonderful mellow patina. There is a bit of minor wear as should be expected from age and use but no breaks, cracks or repairs. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 10.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
