Description: This listing is for an original, "Excellent Guard of the Service, PRIBVO (Отличник Карауьной цлужбы прибво)" badge from the Army of the Soviet Union. Issued by the Baltic Military District (PRIBVO) to exemplary soldiers between 1940 and 1991, although this is a later production version of the badge. The Baltic Military District was comprised of the Lithuatian, Latvian, and Estonian Soviet Socialist Republics as well as the Kalinin Oblast of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. Cast aluminum badge with small pin fastener on the reverse side, it measures 45mm at the widest point and is in new/excellent condition.
