Bible Picture Book 1887 Frederick Warner and Co. : London 10.5" by 9" This is an extremely rare ORIGINAL example of this particular title in an amazing condition for its age.There are a limited few others examples to be had around the world in a lesser condition and more expensively priced.There are no rips or discolouring on any of the pages or pictures although the blank pages (which are present originally designed to protect each picture page) show the odd minute blemish but that is all. This has been in the family since the very early 1900’s belonging to my mother, and it was past down to me in the mid 40’s and been in my possession hidden away for over 70 years. A green cloth hardback with blind stamped back board. Bevelled edges. Stamped pictorial front board with gilt lettering. With Kronheim prints. In a green cloth binding with a pictorial front board. Externally generally good condition inside and out and only sign of wear is in the righthand corners of the cover of the book where it has been shoved into a book case and slight staining on the rear cover (see picture) but has not penetrated inside. Internally, no loose pages or binding. I have researched this book and such originals are few and far between worldwide. Any questions or requests for more pictures, please ask.
