Description: Pair of Vintage Fender Gray Bobbin Original 1970’s Stratocaster Pickups (2), possibly 1960’s One bobbin is dated 1976 (2 25 76). The other bobbin has a number that is not a date (12 220). The bobbins are not a consistent color. The one that has a number that is not a date (12 220) appears lighter, and in my opinion, looks more like a 1960’s gray. Both pickups function and both have had their original leads molested and changed. The leads need to be replaced and returned back to black and white Fender standard wire. Both covers are nice and uncracked, however they show player wear. Hardware is present, both springs and screws. The screws still thread nicely into the bobbins. The 12 220 has dark windings, and the 1976 dated one also has dark windings. These pickups were removed from a 1965 Framus Strato Deluxe that they had been bastardized into a long time ago.
