These OEM replacements by Vital Wave are a proven design. They're simply made better and are designed to last. Although it can be done (usually by accident), they're pretty hard to kill. These tweeters work great wired in parallel and when used in multiples deliver even more high frequency output. This is often a configuration used in pro speakers and separate add-on tweeter only boxes. Wiring is easy even for entry level installers. Simply connect the +/- terminals to any existing speaker output connection. Just make sure they are not connected to a woofer only output used with a coil or crossover.
