Description: This beautiful cheese dome with plate is perfect for displaying and serving your favorite cheeses. Made in England, it features a stunning botanical pattern and a glossy finish. The round shape and single compartment make it easy to use and the porcelain and ceramic materials ensure it is both microwave and dishwasher safe. The cheese lid measures approximately 6” tall and is 8 3/8” wide. The plate measures 10 1/2” wide. The cheese plate has the Portmeirion Botanic Garden Christmas Rose Helleborus pattern. Unfortunately, there is a small chip on the bottom/side of the plate that you can see in the last pictures. The popular cheese dome shape, which was retired a 2004, features the Cyclamen on the sides and Daisy on the top of the lid. This design is based on an image in an antique botany book Medical Botany, Volume I by John Stevenson and James Mors Churchill. The dome lid is in excellent, like new condition with no chips or damage. Shipping cost is based on 6 lbs.
