The last time we used the ROV when cranking in the “tether/cable” the base of the reel (made of plastic which apparently is too light weight) cracked and separated. I have added a much sturdier support around this area for the take up reel. It stronger now than when I received it and it is much sturdy when placed into a fishing rod holder or stake driven into the ground.
