Description: This rare 1910s German "Denkson” hinged 50 gram tobacco tin, measuring 3 1/2” x 3” x 1 1/4”, is in good condition with no rust, a couple of dimple dents and some age related paint scratches and chips. The hinge is in excellent working condition. This very attractive bright yellow and black tin features a detailed image of a bearded man wearing a hat, smoking a pipe while a tin of Denkson 7 pipe tobacco. The tobacco was manufactured was by Gustav Denkhaus & Sohn, Muelheim an der Ruhr, Germany.
