Description: Another strange NY estate find! It is a school medal front has the book and torch on a blue and yellow ribbon. It is engraved CB VHS( basic research seems to yield this was Christian Brothers Vocational High School) ( of note there are other schools with similiar names so possibly not being it appears to have been an all boys school i cannot understand dress making as an awarded topic,so keep in mind it might be another school). The back is marked 6'60 ( june 1960) Trade Dressmakimg The medal is also hallmarked Reed & Co N.Y.C Sterling... Condition is good and it is an interesting find! No idea on the value or historical signifigance.... it does have a dressmaking, sterling silver and school connection... so checks a lot of different boxes for people!
