Description: For sale here is a 1989 Proof Pt$5 Canadian Maple Leaf 1/10 Oz Platinum NGC PF70 UCAM w/ OGP & COA. It is a commemorative 10th anniversary strike and only 10,000 of these sets were distributed worldwide. It is exceedingly rare to get a PF70 designation on these coins and only 30 exist. The yield for PF70 off OGP sets is very low, and cherry-picking singles is even lower. Cert is 2889001-001. This item lot includes the original government packaging (OGP) and commemorative certificate of authenticity (CoA). The hardwood box is stamped 1979 1989 with a maple leaf in the center. It is in great shape. The COA is crisp and sharp with proper edges. It also includes the instructions for removing the coins from their capsules, as well as the original capsules (two 1/10oz CML and one 1oz CML). The outer cardboard box has seen better days but is not in terrible condition. It still makes an attractive display for the discerning gentleman or woman, and you can even add your own raw CML coins to the capsules to further enjoy this piece. Item ships Priority USPS, inside of a hard-shelled 8x4x2 crush-proof box. Item is packaged well and will enter your hands in the same condition it has left mine.
